This brace is relaxing to my neck because it helps hold it in a better position. I have had problems with my spine for a number of years. C 5 and C 6 have degenerative problems. I saw this neck brace and asked Amazon to review it.This is a very soft, yet firm, neck brace. I have a 15 ½ inch neck. I ordered a large brace. The brace comes with a soft sleeve that fits over the brace in the front. It uses a Velcro attachment system. There are some exercises included in the material. The information is pretty good, but you need to excuse the poor English.The large brace may be just a tad bit large for me, but it still fits fine. It is secure around my neck and keeps my chin from falling down. It has helped a lot to stabilize my neck while I am awake. I find it works very well if I am on my computer. I like the fact that it has a sleeve in front because when I am eating and something falls on the sleeve, I can take it off and wash it. The brace keeps your neck a little warm while you wear it, and I think that is a good thing. It helps with circulation. I might be cautious the first 24 hours after the injury because generally you want the area to be cold right after the injury.I really like this brace because it is comfortable, and it works. Will it work for everyone? Probably not. My experiences with braces have been that what works for someone may not work for me. You sometimes need to keep looking. This brace is a good starting point.
